《生地》
14oz　セルヴィッジ　綿100%

経糸にストラクチャー糸*¹と呼ばれる、ムラの強い特殊な糸を使用し、その糸をインディゴ染めに加え茶色系の草木染め*²で染色することにより、緑がかった生地に仕上げています。
また、緯糸をグレーで染める事で落ち着いた雰囲気をプラス。
生地の織り方も一般的な右綾ではなく、左綾*³となっています。
しっかりとした硬めの生地ですが、軽やかな履き心地を得られるのもこの生地の特徴です。
左綾とストラクチャー糸が相まって、はっきりとしたタテ落ち*⁴が期待できます。

*¹ストラクチャー糸とは・・・細い箇所、太い箇所がある不均一な太さの糸。
*²草木染めとは・・・天然由来の染料。合成染料とは異なり量産に向かない希少な染色方法。
*³左綾とは・・・デニム生地の織り方。糸の撚りと生地の織の関係から、一般的に、左綾に折ると生地がフラットになり、また綾目が立つ事からタテ落ちが強くなると言われる。
*⁴タテ落ちとは・・・縦に走る線状の色落ち。

後半5枚の写真は、お客様のO様に穿き込んで頂いたものです。
着用年数は3年ほどで、週5.6日穿いて頂き、洗濯は購入後に4.5回、その後は半年に一度ほどとの事です。
全体的にタテ落ちが強く出ており、メリハリあるヒゲやハチノスが出ています。450-LEFT HANDならではの特徴が色濃く表現された色落ちになっています。
大切に育てて頂いた事が一瞬でわかる色落ちに感謝です。
